Guor springer för Friheten: Från islamistiskt slaveri till Olympiskt Maraton

Olympiadens Maratonlopp går av

stapeln runt middagstid idag.

En av löparna förtjänar betydligt

större uppmärksamhet än vad han

fått i medierna. Tjugoåttaårige

Guor Marial från södra Sudan lärde

sig springa genom att vara på ständig

flykt från de islamistiska ligorna som

terroriserade de kristna sudaneserna.

Vid åtta års ålder sprang han inte fort

nog utan infångades av en muham-

medansk slavhandlare.

Nästan tio år som slav i Khartoum

följde. Först som vuxen lyckades

han fly och kom efter många äventyr

till USA, där han fick asyl och

permanent uppehållstillstånd.

Där upptäckte man också att Guor är

en fantastisk löpare. Men eftersom att

han inte är medborgare i USA och det

nybildade Sydsudan ännu inte har en

olympisk kommitté tävlar han idag

under IOC:s flagga.

Bisarrt nog meddelar samtidigt afrikanska

gruppen i FN att man nominerar den

efterlyste sudanesiske krigsherren,

presidenten och slavägaren

Omar Al-Bashir till ledamot av United

Nations Human Rights Council...

Terrorist med svenskt pass planerar dåd mot Olympiaden

Sunday Times avslöjar idag att det

gått ut ett larm till alla säkerhets-

tjänster: En iransk terrorgrupp finns

redan i Europa för att slå till mot

Olympiaden och då särskilt mot de

israeliska deltagarna.

Det handlar om vita konvertiter med

europeiska och amerikanska pass.

Minst en uppges ha svenskt pass.

The Mossad, says the Sunday Times,

"is hunting a group of white Europeans

who are thought to have converted to

Islam and to be working with the Iranian

Quds force and Hezbollah, the terrorist

group backed by Tehran.

"One of the Israelis’ targets is thought to

be a terrorist carrying a US passport under

the name of David Jefferson, who is be-

lieved to have fled after the Burgas attack"

and "is thought to have another powerful

device" like that used in last week's bomb-

ing, said the report.

According to the Sunday Times, "Security

experts say the Quds force — a unit of

the Iranian Revolutionary Guards — has

recruited a number of white European

Islamic converts, including two Ger-

mans, one from Sweden and a couple

of Britons."

New York police believe Iranian Revolutionary

Guards or their proxies have been involved

so far this year in nine plots against Israeli

or Jewish targets around the world, according

to restricted police documents obtained by

Reuters.

According to a report by the Sunday

Times, more than 17,000 troops and

7,000 private security guards will secure

the Olympic Park and 26 other venues,

and an additional 12,500 police will

be deployed to patrol London's streets

in a "series of 'rings of steel.'"

The Sunday Times reports further that

"panic rooms have been installed beneath

the stadium as a haven for VIPs and

spectators in the event of an attack."

Iran och Al Qaeda planerar en terror-

attack mot sommarens Olympiad i

London. En attack som kan jämföras

med massakern 11 september eller 

den vid Münchenolympiaden 1972...

Den varningen kommer just nu från 

säkerhetskällor i flera länder.

De senaste veckornas terrordåd mot

israeliska mål i Asien ses av många som

en övning inför sommarens megaattack...

Samtidigt trappar Iran upp samarbetet

med Al Qaeda.

As a result, Tehran has loosened restrictions

on high level al–Qaeda operatives under its

controls as well as offering financing and

training to the terrorist group's senior planners.

Security experts said that recent intelligence

suggested Iran and al–Qaeda could attempt

to find a common project in Europe, possibly

targeting the London Olympics, which

opens in July.

"This is a warning to the West that 'if you

consider attacking our facilities then there

will be consequences'," said Anthony Skinner,

the director of the political risk consultants,

Maplecroft.

"This would be a significant development

that would represent a massive upgrade in

al–Qaeda's capacity to strike."

Sedan 2003 finns en AQ-planeringsgrupp

stationerad i Tehran. Hittills har den tvingats

hålla mycket låg profil  och närmast suttit i

husarrest. Ledaren för Al-Qaeda i Iran uppges

vara syriern Yasin al-Sura, som USA utfäst en

belöning på 10 miljoner dollars på.

Nu uppges gruppen ha fått full frihet att
resa samtidigt som den fått omfattande

ekonomiskt och logistiskt stöd
av mullornas regim.

Iran and al Qaeda's core leadership under

Ayman al Zawahiri have established an

"operational relationship" amid fears the

terror group is planning a spectacular

attack against the West.

There are concerns such an attack, possibly

targeting Europe, would be in revenge for

the killing of Osama bin Laden by the US last

year.

Sky News' intelligence sources have said Iran

has been supplying al Qaeda with training

in the use of advanced explosives, "some

funding and a safe haven" as part of a deal

first worked out in 2009 which has now

led to "operational capacity".

The intelligence sources also told Sky News
that Iran’s link to al-Qaida is “most likely to be
used in revenge for any military strikes against
Iran’s nuclear capacities. Iran wants to be able to
say, ‘We can hit you back.’”

But one source warned:
“The danger is that Iran and al-Qaida may
be keen to show this capacity ahead of
any attacks on Iran, as a kind of warning.”

More than 40 Olympic athletes, including

Cuban hurdler Dayron Robles, have signed an open

letter condemning China's human rights record.
The letter is a Sports for Peace initiative, and was

addressed to China's president Hu Jintao.
Other signatories included Croatian world high jump

champion Blanka Vlasic and US 400m runner

DeeDee Trotter.
