Bussbombarna i Tel Aviv gripna

Säkerhetstjänsten Shin Bet började
gripa bussbombarna i Tel Aviv bara
några timmar efter terrordådet.
Det handlar om en Hamascell från
Beit Lakiya i Samarien. Bomben
placerades av en arab med israeliskt'
ID-kort.
**
The cell's members, who are identified
with Hamas and Islamic Jihad, admitted
in their initial questioning in the Shin
Bet that they had agreed upon a plan
to carry out a terror attack, then pre-
pared the explosive device, chose Tel
Aviv as their target, and purchased a
cellular phone in order to use it to
detonate the device.
They also enlisted an Arab with Israeli
citizenship, who is originally from Beit
Lakiya but married an Israeli Arab.
They used a car belonging to the man's
employer in order to transport the device
into Tel Aviv. The employer, an Arab from
eastern Jerusalem, was unaware of their
plan.
The Israeli citizen placed the explosive
charge on the bus, and then informed
his commander in Beit Lakiya, who
dialed the phone and detonated the
device.
The investigation is ongoing and
additional arrests are expected.

Hamas bussbomb i Tel Aviv

Vid middagstid exploderade en bomb
på en buss i Tel Aviv.
Tjugoen personer skadades, varav tre
allvarligt. Inga dödsoffer. Det var Dan-
buss 142 från Bat Yam som drabbades
Shaul HaMelech i centrala Tel Aviv.
Bussbomben var den första i Tel Aviv
sedan 2006.
Bomben betecknades som liten, men
ytterligare en, betydligt större, återfanns
oexploderad på bussen.

Hamas har tagit på sig ansvaret och firar
just nu dådet i Gaza.
Myndigheterna har sedan krigsutbrottet
varnat för nya terroristbomber i de israeliska
storstäderna.
Nya vapendepåer och raketramper har bombats

Konvertiten och bussbomben

In Leeds a young white man who adopted a
radical Islamic creed planted a hoax bomb
on a bus after becoming excited by graphic
images of terrorist violence, a court was told
yesterday.
**
Nicholas Roddis, 22, is alleged to have worn a
false black beard to board a packed bus before
leaving behind a carrier bag packed with nails,
wire and a working clock. Inside the bag was a
message, purporting to be from the al-Qaeda
leadership in Iraq, that proclaimed that there
was “no god but Allahu”, adding: “Britain must
be punished.”
**
When police raided Mr Roddis’s flat in Bramley,
near Rotherham, South Yorkshire, they found
bombmaking ingredients, including chemicals,
nails and detonators, Edward Brown, QC, for
the prosecution told the jury at Leeds Crown
Court. A search of his telephone and computer
uncovered videos and messages “celebrating
terrible atrocities” carried out by jihadist
extremists.
