Venezuelas vänsterextreme president

Hugo Chavez har gjort sig känd som

anti-amerikan och antisemit redan

tidigare.

Venezuelas statsradio propagerar för

Sions Vises Protokoll och landets

tidningar publicerar flest antisemitiska

artiklar i hela Latinamerika. Regerings-

politiker och statstjänstemän uppträder

öppet som antisemiter. Samtidigt vårdar

Chavez sina goda förbindelser med Hizballah

och mullorna i Iran.

Nu är det val i oktober. Den samlade oppo-

sitionen har lanserat Henrique Capriles

Radonski, av en döpt judisk familj, som

motkandidat till Chavez. 

Det har lett till en antisemtisk kampanj helt

utan motstycken. Kantor Centre på Tel Avivs

universitet följer kampanjens utveckling.

“This is done in a variety of methods, such as

defamation, intimidation and conspiracy theories,

many of which portray Capriles as a Zionist

agent, and by mixing classic and neo-anti-

Semitism,” said the report, authored by Lidia

Lerner, an expert on Latin America.

“A Capriles victory, it is claimed, will inevitably

lead to Zionist infiltration.”

Capriles wins repeatedly have appeared

in government-controlled media since

Radonski’s candidacy was announced in

February, the report said. He also has

been the subject of anti-Semitic cartoons.

Finally a country whose government or

rather dictatorship is widely supported by

liberals in the United States and Europe.

No it's not located in the Middle East, but

in South America.

The country of course is Venezuela and

like the antisemitic agenda of their fellow

Marxist Sandinistas, Hugo Chavez's "

Jewish Problem" demonstrates that leftist

antisemitism has very little to do with the

existence of Israel or any so-called oppression

of the Palestinian Arabs.

The Marxist and leftist hatred for Jews long

predates the modern State of Israel.

In fact it goes back to Marx himself, who

despite having Jewish ancestry, hated Jews

all the more.
