cyberspace."

in Egypt, MB has spread across the

Middle East and expanded into every

corner of the world. The tactics of the

Muslim Brotherhood may be non-

violent in the West, and less violent

than other groups in the Muslim world,

but the ideology behind those tactics

remains fundamentally opposed to

the Western democratic system

and its values. The worldview MB

promotes can lead those exposed

to it become excited to the point of

engaging in violence. For example,

Khaled Sheikh Mohammed, master-

mind of the September 11 terrorist

attacks, told US interrogators that

he was first drawn to violent jihad

after attending Brotherhood youth

camps".

documents of Al-Qaida as an

“open camp” from which the best

“brothers” would be selected to

join the new terrorist organization.

With the emergence of the Taliban

movement in the late 1990s along

the Pakistani-Afghan border,

increasingly larger swaths of

northwestern Pakistan have

become dominated by forces

sympathetic to Al-Qaida and
willing to host terrorist guest-

houses and training camps.

Those camps are responsible for

training many of the culprits in-

volved in Europe’s most notorious

terrorism cases of the last decade

—from the July 7, 2005 bombings

in the United Kingdom to the

disrupted plots in Germany during

the summer of 2007 targeting

Ramstein Air Base and Frankfurt

International Airport.

Simply put,
these camps pose a clear and

present danger to the nations of

the West—both as a proxy menace
to NATO forces serving as peace-

keepers in Afghanistan and, most

importantly, as a looming terrorist

threat to Europe and North America.

Their existence can no longer be

tolerated by any responsible regional

security policy.

Indeed, the flourishing of Al-Qaida

training camps in northwestern Pakistan

became front page media headlines in

2005 across Europe and North America

following the 7/7 bombings in
London. At least two of the suicide

operatives responsible for 7/7

—Mohammed Siddique Khan and

Shehzad Tanweer—were reported by

eyewitnesses to have attended training

camps at several locations in the

Pakistani Northwest Frontier Province

(NWFP)."

OK, truth be told, I didn't actually take a taxi

to the capital of Hezbollah-land.
But when I tried to arrange a cab to take me

from Beer Sheva to my home in Efrat the other

night, you would have thought that Lebanon

was my destination based on the number of

cab drivers who refused to accept the fare.
It was about 10:00PM and I had long since

missed my regular carpool home. Under

normal circumstances I would have either

stayed over in Beer Sheva at a local hotel

or tried to hitchhike home. But seeing as

it was really late and I needed to be in

Jerusalem first thing in the morning, I

decided to treat myself to a taxi ride home.
So far so good... until the fun began, that is.

Den religiösa sionismen uppstod när det judiska

folket skingrades över världen –det var i början

av vår tideräkning – år 70 - när romarna lät

riva det andra templet och fördrev överlevande

judar från den tidens Israel.

– nästa år i Jerusalem

har sedan dess ingått i judars dagliga böner under

nästan 2000 år. Den politiska sionismen väcktes

i slutet av 1800-talet av den judiske författaren

och journalisten Theodor Herzl, som kom att be-

vittna den antisemitiska Dreyfus-processen i

Frankrike och då väcktes till insikt om - att det

finns bara en lösning på det s k ”judiska problemet”

och det är ett återupprättat land - Eretz Israel

för det judiska folket - Am Israel.

När människor i en framtid ser tillbaka på vår

tids historia så är jag övertygad om att två

skeenden under 1900-talet kommer att vara

framträdande:

Det ena: Holocaust – Shoa – Förintelsen

– då 6 miljoner judar mördades av nazister

och deras medlöpare.

Det andra: Återupprättandet av Israel – ett

mirakel - ett hemland för det judiska folket.

Judar strömmade till Israel – Överlevande från

Europas koncentrationsläger. Hundratusentals

judar från arabvärlden, där judar bott långt

innan islam ens blev en religion, blev utkastade

och berövade all sin egendom och kom utblottade

till Israel. Judar från Sovjetunionen – 1 miljon –

utvandrade från antisemitism och särbehandling

till ett land som de kunde kalla sitt eget. Etiopiska

judar vandrade i veckor för att komma till en plats,

varifrån de kunde flygas till Israel.

**

Och alla dessa människor har tagits emot och

integrerats i det israeliska samhället – inte utan

problem – men i sin helhet med stor och

beundransvärd framgång. Detta är framsidan.

Baksidan av detta glänsande mynt är de palestinska

arabernas humanitära katastrof, som ingen

människa kan blunda för eller underlåta att

känna medlidande med.

Men man måste ställa frågan: Varför sitter

alla dessa människor i flyktingläger mer än

60 år efter det att de flytt eller fördrivits ?

Varför sitter någon i ett flyktingläger i ett

arabiskt broderland – med samma språk,

samma religion och samma kultur ?

Varför sitter någon palestinier i flyktingläger

i Jordanien, som innan engelsmännen skiljde

av 3/4 av det palestinska mandatet till detta

folk med samma etniska bakgrund som de

som nu betraktas som flyktingar ?

Och jag frågar: Varför vill inte Jordanien

ta ansvar för Västbanken, som de hade

kontrollen över från 1948 till 1967?

Varför ville inte Egypten ha tillbaka Gaza-

området i freden med Israel i slutet av

70-talet?

Svaret är uppenbart – arabvärlden ville

konservera det palestinska flykting-

problemet som ett verktyg för att förgöra

Israel och driva judarna i havet.

**

Medan Israel har utvecklats till ett dynamiskt,

vitalt och demokratiskt välfärdsland med

ett blomstrande näringsliv och ett kulturellt

utbud utan motstycke så har Israels fiender

odlat en kultur av våld, blod och ond, bråd död.

Islam förbjuder ju bruket av alkohol men

någon form av baksmälla har ändå uppstått

när man nu börjat förstå att man släppt ut

en ond ande ur flaskan och omöjligt kan få in

den i flaskan igen – man har skapat ett monster

av islamism och terrorism, som utgör ett

hot även mot de egna systemen av diktatur

och feodalvälde.

**

För optimisten kan detta möjligtvis innebära

ett paradigmskifte som kan vara positivt i

en motvillig fredsprocess.

Och denna tragedi har kunnat pågå med

FN´s och våra västliga demokratiers

benägna bistånd.

Politisk opportunism, korruption och

konkurrens om marknader och råvaror

såsom dyrbara vapensysstem och ett

oändligt behov av olja har varit drivkrafter

i detta cyniska spektakel.

Ett krav – som skulle kunna framställas av

demokratierna i FN - om nedläggning av

UNWRA – FN´s speciella organ för bevarandet

av palestinernas misär – vore ett steg mot

en bättre utveckling och framtid för

dessa misshandlade människor.

**

Religiös fanatism och islamisk fundamentalism

utgör ett allvarligt hot inte bara mot Israel

utan även mot de sekulära och frihetliga

värden, som vi uppskattar att leva efter.

Detta perspektiv borde i större utsträckning

intressera media, journalister och den

intellektuella eliten, som ständigt kritiserar

Israel i dess existentiella kamp.

**

Men Israel lever och Israel har vänner

även här i Sverige. Vi som känner

tillgivenhet, beundran och kärlek till

Israel firar de första 60 åren och ser

framtiden an med tillförsikt och förväntan

på fred och försoning mellan människor,

mellan folk och mellan länder.

Skepsis lönar sig......

- Ett antal islamistiska organisationer som

finns på FN:s terroristlista har nu dykt upp

på nytt i Bosnien under nya namn.

Det rapporterade häromdagen den österrikiska

webtidningen Vienna Online. Över detta kan man

ju uppröras. Men först bör man kanske granska

källorna.....

Enligt Vienna Online är det en bosnisk tidning och

ett antal bosniska tjänstemän som slår larm.

Granskar man dem närmare visar det sig vara

en tidning och funktionärer i Republik Srpska

den lilla serbisk-kommunistiska enklaven

kring Banja Luka i Bosnien som ligger bakom.

Så är det tyvärr ofta när det dyker upp artiklar

om islamismen på Balkan. Skrapar man lite på

ytan så hittar man gamla Titopropagandister:

"Nyhetsbyrån" Serbianna, Serbian Unity Congress,

PR-byråerna Venables, Squire Sanders Public

Advocacy och Global Strategic Communications

Group (GSCG), SaveKosovo.org är några av

de skepnader de uppträder i.....

Den serbiska propagandaapparaten är

naturligtvis lite försiktigare numera.

Rasforskaren och f d "presidenten" Biljana

Plavsic (idag bosatt på Hinseberg) som

"bevisade" att muslimer är "genetiskt deformerade"

citeras sällan. Hennes och Radovan Karadzics

tidigare presschef Darko Trifunovic (Srdja Trifkovic)

dyker däremot ofta upp i framförallt

amerikanska medier. Han försöker t ex

"bevisa" att massakern i Srebrenica aldrig ägt

rum och att hela Balkan är nedlusat med

islamister......

Andra debattörer som nära samarbetar med

den serbiska propagandaapparaten och deras PR-

byråer i USA är bl a James Jatras, James Lyons, Jr,

Doug Bandow, James Bissett, Andrew G. Bostom,

Thomas Gambill, Julia Gorin, William J. Murray,

Canon Keith Roderick, Wanda Schindley,

Sir Alfred Sherman och Robert Spencer.

En del av dessa är ansedda experter på

islamism, t ex Robert Spencer, men att arbeta som

rådgivare åt American Council for Kosovo och

därmed åt den titoistiska sumpen i Serbien tyder

ju tyvärr på lite dåligt omdöme....

**

I samband med Kosovas självständighet

dök det upp mängder av serbisk agitprop,

även i medier som borde veta bättre.

Jag läste det mesta av det anti-

islamistiska material som plötsligt

dök upp på nätet och kunde,

ärligt talat, inte finna mycket

substans i det....

På 90-talet fanns det goda belägg

för wahabistisk infiltration i Bosnien,

men i dagens Kosova finns inget

motsvarande.

Det är lätt att finna samband

mellan den politiska ledningen

i Kosova, UCK och olika kriminella

nätverk, men några hållbara bevis

på islamistisk infiltration har

inte motståndarna kunnat prestera.

Läs gärna serbpropagandans alster, men

var kritisk och var medveten om

vems ärenden de går. Att bekämpa

islamism med havererad kommunism

är ingen god idé.....

Slår Hizballah snart till ?

Så här när Hizballah solar sig i

den kommande frigivningen av

monstret Samir Kuntar (som inte

är shia-islamist utan drusisk

kommunist....) kan det vara

lämpligt att lyssna

Treasury Targets Hizballah in Venezuela
Washington - The U.S. Department of the Treasury

today designated two Venezuela-based supporters

of Hizballah, Ghazi Nasr al Din and Fawzi Kan'an,

along with two travel agencies owned and controlled

by Kan'an.
"It is extremely troubling to see the Government of

Venezuela employing and providing safe harbor

to Hizballah facilitators and fundraisers. We will continue

to expose the global nature of Hizballah's terrorist

support network, and we call on responsible governments

worldwide to disrupt and dismantle this activity,"

said Adam J. Szubin, Director of the Office of

Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Hizballah is particularly active in Europe, where

it is engaged in financial and logistical support

operations as well as political activities meant to

legitimize itself in the eyes of the West. Although

the organization has not conducted terrorist attacks

in Europe for many years, it is still active in the region,

primarily using Europe as a fundraising and recruiting

ground. A recently released German intelligence

assessment estimated that 900 Lebanese Hizballah

members (an increase of 100 from previous reports) live

in Germany alone. Hizballah has also used Europe as

a launching pad for sending operatives into Israel

to conduct surveillance and attacks.

Hizbullah "sleeper" terror cells set up outside Lebanon

with Iranian assistance have been put on standby

The Jerusalem Post learned on Sunday, and are likely

planning attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets

throughout the world.

The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) confirmed to

the Post Sunday night that it had instructed embassies,

consulates and Jewish institutions it was responsible for

abroad to raise their level of awareness in light

of the conflict in the North.
The assumption within Military Intelligence is that

Hizbullah would only attack targets abroad if it felt

pushed into a corner. According to this thinking, the

Islamist group hesitates to carry out such attacks

because it does not want to be associated with

Global Jihad and al-Qaida.

Hizbullah has attacked Jewish and Israeli targets

abroad in the past. The organization is believed

to have been behind the attack on the Israeli Embassy

in Buenos Aires in 1992 during which a suicide bomber

drove a pick-up truck filled with explosives into the building,

killing 29 people and wounding 242, following Israel's

assassination of the group's leader at the time,

Sheikh Abbas Musawi.

Hizbullah is also thought to have been responsible

for the attack on the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association

building in Buenos Aires in 1994, when an explosives-laden

van rammed into the structure and killed 85 people.
Another attack attributed to the group was the 1985

hijacking of TWA flight 847. One passenger was murdered;

the remainder of the hostages were released

over a two-week period.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak recently signed an order

declaring 36 funds around the world, members of the

"Union of Good" organization, to be banned associations

in Israel since they are part of Hamas's fundraising

network, and both support and assist it.

This order, the broadest and most comprehensive

ever issued in Israel, joins a series of previous

declarations against overseas charity organizations that

belong to the "Union of Good" and Hamas, including Interpal

in the UK, branches of the Al Aqsa Foundation in Europe,

the Holy Land Foundation in the US, the World Assembly

of Muslim Youth (WAMY) in Saudi Arabia, and additional

foundations in Turkey, Qatar, South Africa, Austria, Jordan,

France, the Netherlands, Italy, Denmark, Sweden

and other countries.

**

This is a significant step against the global network

which assists Hamas in raising funds. The order outlaws

a great number of bodies that are active abroad and

which are responsible for raising very large sums for

Hamas activities in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip.
The "Union of Good" is, in effect, a roof organization

for foundations operated by Hamas around the world,

especially in Europe and the Persian Gulf countries. It was

outlawed by the Defense Minister in 2002 for its

massive support of Hamas.

The Union is composed of dozens of extremist

Islamic foundations around the world. WAMY is

especially active in the Persian Gulf countries and in

Africa. The activity of Hamas foundations in Europe

are led by Interpal in the UK, branches of the Al-Aqsa

Foundation and the Committee for Welfare and Aid

for the Palestinians (CBSP) in France.

Dozens of foundations that are operated abroad by Hamas,

most of which are members of the Union of Good,

along with dozens of Hamas charitable associations active

in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, form a well organized

and coordinated support network, that includes Hamas's

fundraising arm abroad and the vital civilian and

infrastructure networks in Judea, Samaria and the

Gaza Strip. In this framework, tens of millions of dollars

per annum are transferred from the overseas foundations

to Hamas associations in the field.

**

Recently, it has become clear that Union-affiliated

foundations are trying to raise funds not only for

Hamas charitable associations in Judea, Samaria and

the Gaza Strip, but for the activities of the Hamas

government as well. The Chairman of the Union of

Good is the infamous Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

Several steps have been taken so far, in Israel and

abroad, against foundations, associations and activists

connected to Hamas's global fundraising network,

including the banning of the Al-Aqsa Foundation

in Germany and the Netherlands, the conviction

of senior Islamic Movement officials over their

links with the Union for Good and Hamas foundations, and

the conviction of a Hamas-affiliated charity in A-Ram.

There is no doubt that, in light of its scope, this

significant declaration will require the Israeli and

world banking and financial systems to prepare

accordingly and act with caution in order to avoid

criminal actions or civil lawsuits by victims of terrorism,

such as that against the Arab Bank, in the US.

Vad är det då han gjort ?

Samir Kuntar är en libanesisk

drus, som tillhörde den lilla

terrorgruppen PLF, där huvud-

delen senare anslöt sig till marxistiska

PFLP. Den 22 april 1979 genom-

förde han en terroraktion i Nahariya

i norra Israel. Där mördade han Danny

Haran och hans små döttrar. Vi låter

änkan Smadar berätta:

"It had been a peaceful Sabbath day.

My husband, Danny, and I had picnicked

with our little girls, Einat, 4, and Yael, 2,

on the beach not far from our home in

Nahariya, a city on the northern coast of

Israel, about six miles south of the Lebanese

border. Around midnight, we were asleep in

our apartment when four terrorists, sent by

Abu Abbas from Lebanon, landed in a rubber

boat on the beach two blocks away. Gunfire

and exploding grenades awakened us as the

terrorists burst into our building. They had

already killed a police officer. As they charged

up to the floor above ours, I opened the door

to our apartment. In the moment before the

hall light went off, they turned and saw me.

As they moved on, our neighbor from the

upper floor came running down the stairs.

I grabbed her and pushed her inside our

apartment and slammed the door.

Outside, we could hear the men storming

about. Desperately, we sought to hide.

Danny helped our neighbor climb into a

crawl space above our bedroom; I went

in behind her with Yael in my arms.

Then Danny grabbed Einat and was

dashing out the front door to take refuge

in an underground shelter when the

terrorists came crashing into our flat.

They held Danny and Einat while they

searched for me and Yael, knowing there

were more people in the apartment. I will

never forget the joy and the hatred in their

voices as they swaggered about hunting for

us, firing their guns and throwing grenades.

och jag kommer fa tillfalle att traff honom pa

ett mer privat plan vilken kanns javligt stort

for mig. Jag vet inte hur det kommer vara,

men jag har iaf fragat, och det verkar som

att det kommer finnas mojlighet for mig

att gora en intervju med honom.

Al Qaedas KGB-kontakter

The right hand of bin Laden, the

Number Two in "Al-Qaeda" was trained

at the secret base of the Russian secret

services on Caucasus, the former Lieutenant

Colonel of the Russian Federal Security Service

(FSB) Alexander Litvinenko told the Polish

Rzeczpospolita newspaper. Until the end

of 1998, Litvinenko had served in several

top-secret units that specialized in struggle

against the terrorist and the mafia organizations.

Litvinenko claims that Ayman al-Zawahiri,

who headed at that time the terrorist organization

"Al-Jihad al-jadid" (it was formed from the

Egyptian emigrants - activists of "Al-Jihad"

and "Al-Jamaah al-Islamiyah"), in 1998

secretly stayed on the territory of Russia.

Up to the beginning of 1998, the

process of merging of the two most

radical Islamic organizations –

"Al-Jihad al-jadid" and "Al-Qaeda"

was completed. Al-Zawahiri became

the second person in the hierarchy

of the Osama bin Laden's "Al-Qaeda".

In February 1998, being together in

Afghanistan, they have created the World

Islamic Front for Jihad Against Jews and

Crusaders. However, at that time the

Western secret services yet did not pay

any special attention to al-Zawahiri's activity

(several years prior to that, he freely visited

the USA, and several countries of the

Western Europe). The hunt for him, as

well as for his fellows in arms began only

after the explosions in the American

embassies in Kenya and Tanzania,

in August, 1998.

Only then the CIA analysts with the

help of the Egyptian and Israeli colleagues

managed to restore retrospectively a part

al-Zawahiri's "activity schedule" for seven

months prior to the attacks in East Africa.

As it was discovered, since January till the

end of July, 1998, he personally supervised

the preparation for the terrorist attacks

in Kenya and Tanzania.

For this purpose al-Zawahiri had left the

territory of Afghanistan several times, in

particular traveling to Sudan (in the middle of

May, 1998). In parallel, he paid a lot of

attention to strengthening "Al-Qaeda's" ties

with secret services of Khartoum and Tehran.
**

Although our American and Israeli sources

do not know about al-Zawahiri staying in Russia,

they have supplied us with some other interesting

details. According to this information, in the

first half of 1998, leaders of "Al-Qaeda" tried

in every possible way to increase the level of

coordination with terrorist groups worldwide. For

this purpose the leaders of many such groups

and cells of "Al-Qaeda" were invited to Afghanistan.

Getting close to the large-scale attack on the USA,

Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri have

organized a "congress" of the adherents from all

over the world. It took place on June, 24, at

the capital of the talibs - Kandahar, in southern

Afghanistan. Among the visitors were the

representatives of the Balkan countries, the

Middle East and Africa, and even of the radical

Islamic groups from the republics of the former

USSR. The Uzbeks and the Chechens were especially

outstanding. Besides them, the Kazakhs, the Kyrgyz,

the Dargins, the Lakks, and the Tatars had also

secretly arrived to Kandahar. All of them came

here separately, using sideways. A week prior

to the beginning of the conference, a group of

well-armed al-Zawahiri's assistants had left

by jeeps in the direction of Herat. Following the

instructions of their patron, in the town of

Koh-i-Doshakh they met three unknown men

that arrived from Russia via Iran. The latter

called themselves by Muslim names, despite

the fact that the two of them had a clearly

Slavic appearance. After their arrival in

Kandahar, the 'guests' split up.

One of the "Russians"

was directly escorted to al-Zawahiri,

and he did not participate in the conference.

Later on, this 'Russian guest', for almost six

years disappeared out of the secret services' sight.

He reappeared only in 2004. On February, 13,

in the capital of Qatar the car of the ex-president

of the Chechen Republic Zelimhan Yandarbiev

was blown up. Couple of days after his

death, the authorities of the United Arab

Emirates detained two Russian citizens. They

turned to be the officers of the secret services.

For the last three months they had been

working in the embassy of Russia in Doha. After

Yandarbiev's assassination these two Russians

together with several other of their fellow

citizens have hastily left Qatar.
